Bikes have been part of my life for more than 20 years. What started as a simple way to move around became a lifelong passion that eventually led me to the world of e-bikes and the creation of Watt Hustle.

I’m Fernando David, originally from Puerto Rico and now based in Davie, Florida. For most of my life, the bicycle has been my preferred way to move around. Long before e-bikes became popular, I was already riding everywhere I could. Riding has always given me a sense of freedom, independence, and connection with the road.

When electric bikes started appearing on the market, everything changed. I immediately saw their potential, not just as a fun ride, but as a powerful and practical way to move, work, explore, and live differently. E-bikes opened the door to new possibilities, combining the joy of cycling with technology that makes riding more efficient, versatile, and accessible.

Today I ride almost everywhere on an e-bike. From daily errands to longer rides, my bike has become a central part of my lifestyle. I also use e-bikes in very practical ways, whether it’s moving around my property, transporting gear, or simply enjoying the ride while staying active.

Over the years, I’ve built a personal collection of more than 20 e-bikes, each one with its own purpose, personality, and riding experience. Testing, riding, and understanding these machines has allowed me to learn what works, what doesn’t, and what truly matters when choosing the right e-bike.

Watt Hustle was born from that passion. It’s a place where I share real riding experiences, honest reviews, maintenance knowledge, and the everyday reality of living with e-bikes. No hype, just real rides, real machines, and a real rider behind it all.
